How far is MC Auto Detailing from UNL City Campus?
We're about 1 mile east of UNL City Campus at 2043 O St, between 20th and 21st Streets. It's about a 15 to 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. The N Street Bikeway also runs through the Telegraph District, two blocks south of the shop.
Can I walk to The Mill at Telegraph or downtown while my car is being detailed?
Yes. The Mill at Telegraph is about a 5 minute walk, and downtown Lincoln is a 5 to 10 minute walk west. Most details take 3 to 6 hours, so there's plenty of time to study, eat or run errands while we work.
Do you offer student discounts?
We don't run a student discount program. Instead, we keep our prices posted and the same for everyone. The Essential Interior starts at $190 for a coupe or sedan.
How long does a detail take? I have classes.
Most details take 3 to 6 hours. An Essential Interior is about 3 hours and a Full Interior about 5. Many customers drop off before a morning class and pick up after. Vehicles dropped off after 1 PM will be ready for pickup the next day to ensure quality.
Do you do paint correction, ceramic coating, window tinting, or wraps?
No, we don't offer those services. We focus on interior and exterior detailing: interior cleaning, hand wash and hand wax, engine bay cleaning and headlight restoration.
Do you take walk-ins?
We strongly prefer appointments. Booking online takes about 2 minutes and locks in your time. If you're nearby, call or text 402-525-7201 to see if we have an opening.
What if I need a detail before driving home for break?
Call or text 402-525-7201. We sometimes have same day openings. The weeks before Thanksgiving, winter break and spring break fill up fast, so book early.
